The service

One record for the whole run

The Traceability Pack is what ties our products together. Because the machine, tool and material are one integrated solution, the machine already knows what it is running — the Pack captures it, run after run, with no clipboard in sight.

Every parameter, cycle and alarm, the material and its lot, the operator, the exact time and date — logged automatically and sealed into a secure cloud record you can search, open and print for any production run.

What gets logged

Six things, on every run

Captured at the machine as it happens — contemporaneous, attributable and time-stamped, so the record is complete without anyone writing it down.

01
Parameters

Temperature, pressure, dwell and the loaded recipe — the settings the run actually used.

02
Cycles

Cycle count and timing across the run — how much was made and when.

03
Alarms

Every alarm and event with its cause and timestamp — nothing quietly cleared.

04
Packaging material

Material type and lot — read from the scanned bundle, tied to the run.

05
User

The operator who ran it — identified by login or keycard, not a shared account.

06
Time & date

Machine time-stamps on start, stop and every event — the spine the record hangs on.

Validated automatically

Correct by default

The Pack doesn’t just record what happened — it checks the run is set up right before it starts. Three things are confirmed automatically, so the wrong combination simply can’t run.

Tool detection

The machine detects every tool part fitted and validates that the correct tooling is in place for the job — before the first cycle.

Material scan

Our material bundles are scanned automatically — the right material and lot are confirmed and bound to the run, with no manual entry.

Our materials →
User authentication

The operator signs in by login or keycard, so every run is attributable to a named, authorised person — never a shared account.

Result

Right tool, right material, right person — checked and logged at the start of every run, automatically.

Secure cloud

Logged to a secure cloud — searchable and printable

Data streams from the machine into a secure cloud as the run happens. From any browser your team can find a run, open its full record and print it — for a customer, an auditor or your own release paperwork.

Attributable & time-stamped
Every entry carries who, what and when — recorded by the system, not the operator.
Tamper-evident
Records are write-once with a full history — nothing is silently overwritten.
Access-controlled
Named users and roles — the same identity model as at the machine.
Search, filter & export
By run, date, tool, material lot or operator — then print or export the record.

Built on the data-integrity principles behind electronic records and audit trails (e.g. 21 CFR Part 11 / ALCOA+). Applicability to your regulatory obligations is confirmed with your quality team.

How it’s delivered

A subscription, with a machine add-on

Two parts: a one-time add-on that gives the machine tool detection, material scanning and secure login — and a subscription for the cloud where every run is stored, searched and printed.

On the machine
Traceability add-on
Tool-part detection & validation
Material bundle scanning
Login / keycard reader
Secure link to the cloud

One-time, per machine. Fitted new or retrofitted to a supported line.

In the cloud
Traceability subscription
Secure storage of every run
Search, filter & user access control
Print & export of any production run
Updates & support included

Ongoing, per site. Scales across machines and lines.

Want it on your line?

Tell us your machine and sites — we’ll confirm the add-on fit and scope the subscription.

Add-on fit depends on the machine — we confirm compatibility for your line as part of the enquiry. Pricing is quoted per project.

FAQ

Traceability FAQ

Do I need an InnovaPax machine?+

The Pack relies on the machine detecting tooling, scanning our material bundles and authenticating the user, so it’s built for our integrated solution. The add-on can be fitted to a new machine or retrofitted to a supported line — tell us what you run and we’ll confirm fit.

How is the material lot captured?+

Our material bundles carry a scannable label. The machine reads it, confirms the correct material and lot for the job, and binds it to the run — so the record shows exactly which lot made which batch, with no manual typing.

Is my data secure and private?+

Records are stored in a secure cloud with access limited to your named users and roles. Entries are write-once and time-stamped, following the data-integrity principles behind electronic records and audit trails. Your production data is yours.

How does it relate to validation?+

Validation proves the recipe and sets the limits; the Traceability Pack then logs every run against them, so you can show each batch was made inside its validated window — the two work hand in hand.

Can I print records for an auditor or customer?+

Yes — open any run and print or export the full record, like the example above. Filter by date, tool, material lot or operator to pull exactly the runs you need for a release, an audit or a recall check.
