What You Can Ask Us
InnovaPax covers industrial packaging across a broad range of formats, materials, and process areas. We welcome questions and feedback on any topic within that scope. Common reasons people get in touch include asking for clarification on a specific process parameter or material property discussed in one of our articles, requesting an explanation of a standard clause or test method, or pointing out that a piece of content needs to be updated because a standard has been revised or an industry practice has changed.
Topic suggestions are one of the most useful contributions readers make. If there is a packaging technology, material, machinery category, or regulatory framework that is not yet covered on InnovaPax — or is covered only briefly — telling us about it helps us prioritise where to direct editorial effort. We receive suggestions from readers at all levels, from senior engineers with decades of experience to recent graduates encountering an unfamiliar process for the first time, and both types of input are equally valuable.
Error reports are always welcome. Technical publishing is difficult, and despite rigorous review, errors and outdated information do appear. If you find a factual mistake — an incorrect standard citation, a misattributed figure, an outdated process description — please let us know specifically what is wrong and, if possible, what the correct information is. We verify and correct promptly.
We also receive messages from readers who are trying to solve a specific packaging problem and want to know whether InnovaPax has relevant content that they have not found through the navigation. If you are looking for something specific, describe what you need and we will point you to existing content or flag it as a gap we should fill.
What We Cannot Help With
InnovaPax is a knowledge resource, not a consultancy or engineering service. We are not able to provide engineering calculations for live projects, equipment specifications for capital purchases, supplier recommendations, or regulatory review of specific packaging designs or technical files. For those requirements, please engage a qualified packaging engineer or regulatory specialist directly.
We are also not able to answer questions about specific commercial products, provide pricing information for materials or equipment, or facilitate introductions to suppliers. For commercial enquiries of that nature, contact the relevant manufacturer or distributor directly.
Response Times
We aim to respond to all messages within one working day. During periods of higher volume, responses may occasionally take two working days. If your enquiry has a specific deadline — for example, if you are preparing for a supplier audit, a design review, or a regulatory submission — including a brief note about your timeframe helps us prioritise. Complex technical questions may take slightly longer if we need to research before responding accurately, but we will acknowledge receipt and give an estimated response time.
Editorial and Collaboration Enquiries
If you work in the industrial packaging industry — as an engineer, technologist, standards expert, or researcher — and would like to discuss contributing technical content to InnovaPax, please reach out via email with a brief description of your background and the topic area you have in mind. We are selective about external contributions to maintain consistency with our technical and editorial standards, but we do collaborate with qualified professionals on content that addresses genuine gaps in the knowledge base.
If you represent an industry association, standards body, or research institution with material you believe would benefit our readers, we are open to discussing how that content might be incorporated appropriately.
